Xbox 360 Live or PS3 Live ?

What console are you going to pick?

Both consoles show pro's and con's, but what I'm really interested in, is which console is going to better online.

The next-gen of games are heading online, nearly every game being developed has online game play or some tie to an online marketplace, such as Xbox 360. So far a lot of games have had major lag problems on the 360, which can be extremely annoying to players.

If PS3 can demonstrate a good online system, with less lag then the 360 currently has with some games. I'll personally buy a ps3. But for now, the PS3 does not look very appealing to me.

Well, I currently own a Xbox 360 and had the console since launch. So far I could say the Online play has been good. I have not realize any lag at all. But it all depends on the connection and type of game you are playing. Now I'm a hardcore gamer so I know eventually I will be getting all three consoles but as for right now. The xbox 360 to me has the upper hand why you ask. Just because they have a great line-up coming next gear. From Gears of War to Halo 3, If you are a RPG Fan Blue Dragon and Lost Odysesy. So Microsoft has alot of great games coming out and thats just a piece of what I mention. Also has for Online experience I feel Xbox Live has such much more a upper hand on the Wii and PS3, because the PS2 online was not good at all very hard to use and was hard to get games going because of the 56k modem and high speed. Which I know for a fact the Sony is not doing that anymore. With Ninteno there Online with the gamecube was no where to be seen. So right now Xbox Live is on top with that right now and just going to get better. Right now with the PS3 online there is hardly no hard information of what is going to be doing on instead of music. So time will tell. Also and most importantly here is my thing. Right now Sony focus is Blu-Ray Disc to do 1080p now let me know how many people right now in there homes has 1080p?? Thats the big question. So if you want to watch HD Movies. Xbox is releasing a HD-DVD Drive which is external for 200.00 and it will be able to do 1080p and most importantly it is optional. So that is my input on the situation. There is going to be great years of gaming to come and I know for sure I will be enjoying them.

I agree with you, I expect Microsoft to dominate the Live market, even when PS3 is lauched. To be honest, I didn't even know you could take the PS2 online, even though I have one.

I'm far too pleased with the 360 to care much for the ps3 right now, unless I find something extremely attracting, such as a game only to ps3, I doubt i'll be lining up for the ps3 launch.
